THE OFFER Our product offers are valid while stocks last, in Metropolitan France, French Overseas Departments and Territories (971, 972, 973, 974), Spain, Portugal, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Corsica, Monaco, and the Maghreb. For the rest of the world, please contact us directly. All orders imply acceptance of the prices and descriptions of the products available for sale. Any dispute on this point will be addressed within the framework of a possible exchange and the guarantees mentioned below. PRICES Our prices are indicated in Euros (€), inclusive of all taxes, and take into account the taxes in effect at the time of printing. If one or more taxes or contributions, particularly environmental ones, are created or modified, whether increased or decreased, this change may be reflected in the selling price of the items in our catalogs and sales documents. They are guaranteed subject to errors in quotations or printing. No item may be sold at a loss. Keep your invoice; it will be required for exchanges or warranty claims. ORDERING The German Look store draws the Customer's attention to the fact that, in the event of an online order on the website, information entered incorrectly or incompletely (particularly the recipient's address) may lead to errors in the execution of the order (especially in its delivery), which cannot under any circumstances be attributed to the German Look store. The Customer must accurately verify the product(s) ordered, the quantities, and the shipping location of the order. An order may always be canceled by the German Look store in the event of: - failure by the Customer to pay the order price within the allotted time; - unavailability of the ordered product(s) and/or inability to provide the service(s) for which an order was placed; - force majeure (including: unforeseen delays in deliveries, unavailability from the usual supplier). PAYMENT AND SECURITY Full payment is due immediately upon placing the order. Orders are processed in euros. To pay for an order, the buyer has the following payment options: - Payment by Visa, Carte Bleue, or Mastercard. a) BY CREDIT CARD: Payment by credit card is made: Directly on our website via the Stripe server, guaranteeing a secure online transaction. The credit card is debited for the total order price as soon as authorization is obtained from the German Look store and the customer's credit card issuer. Credit card payments use 3DS protection, ensuring maximum security. A verification code will be requested during the transaction to finalize your payment. b) BY CHECK OR MONEY ORDER: Due to numerous disputes regarding check payments, we no longer accept this payment method. As part of our efforts to combat online fraud, information relating to any order may be transmitted to third parties for verification. Once the customer has provided the requested information, they click on "I acknowledge that I have read and agree to the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the General Terms and Conditions of Use above." Then, after reading the information in the box outlining the Site's offers, the customer reiterates their acceptance by clicking on "I acknowledge that I have read and agree to the information in the box above." DELIVERY METHODS AND DELIVERY TIMES IN METROPOLITAN FRANCE General Information Products are delivered to the delivery address you provided during the ordering process. Delivery Times The ordered product is delivered by mail or by an independent carrier, depending on the nature of the product ordered and at the sole discretion of our German Look store, to the address indicated on the order form. The stated delivery times are calculated from the date of dispatch from our warehouses. The choice of delivery method depends on the weight, volume, and value of the items. Delivery Problem: In the event of damage, you must clearly state your reservations on the delivery note. The phrase "subject to unpacking" does not constitute a valid reservation and has NO LEGAL VALUE. It is therefore essential that you precisely describe the condition of the packaging and/or your product. (Examples: Sounds of breakage, open package, damaged, torn, or dented packaging on the bottom right corner, scratched or dented product on the left side, etc.). You must also confirm these reservations by registered mail to the carrier within 48 business hours of receiving the item(s), and send a copy of this letter to: German Look Customer Service, sav@german-look.com, clearly indicating the references shown on the delivery note. Note: Verification of the condition of your product is considered complete once the delivery note has been signed. Therefore, IF THE ABOVE INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT FOLLOWED, NO CLAIM WILL BE ACCEPTED. (Article L.133-3 of the French Commercial Code). If your product is indeed damaged, you must refuse the package and note this on the delivery slip (package refused because it was open or damaged upon delivery; describe the damage precisely). You must also confirm these reservations by registered mail to the carrier no later than 48 business hours after receiving the item(s), and send a copy of this letter to: German Look Customer Service, sav@german-look.com, clearly indicating the references noted on the delivery slip. Please note: Verification of the condition of your product is considered complete once the delivery slip has been signed. Therefore, IF THE ABOVE INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT FOLLOWED, NO CLAIM WILL BE ACCEPTED. (Article L.133-3 of the French Commercial Code). After your package is received and accepted by our services, depending on the nature of the product, available stock, and your preference, we will offer to resend you the originally ordered product or an equivalent replacement. RETURN POLICY: Any modified or painted product is not eligible for return, exchange, or refund. The customer may be held liable for any depreciation of the products resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and proper functioning of the product(s). Orders manufactured or modified specifically for a particular vehicle are not eligible for exchange or refund. Orders for LED, xenon, or halogen lighting are not eligible for return or exchange, except in the case of an error on our part. Orders for headlight control units, ECUs, or headlight housings requiring coding are not eligible for return or refund, as these products cannot be resold or used on another vehicle, even if identical. Since the chassis information remains stored in the unit, it will not function on another vehicle. Returns for Withdrawal Return Procedures In accordance with Article L.121-21 of the French Consumer Code, you have fourteen days from the date of receipt of your order to return any item that does not suit you, in its original packaging and in good condition, suitable for resale, and request an exchange or refund, excluding return shipping costs. This refund will be processed within 2 to 14 days. IMPORTANT: No returns will be accepted if the returned product is unsuitable for resale. Therefore: - The product must be returned in perfect condition, in its original packaging, unopened, unsealed, undamaged, unmarked, etc. - The product must be returned with all its accessories. Otherwise, the product will be returned to you at your expense. To process your request correctly, please send your return request by email, along with the product's purchase invoice. You will be refunded within a maximum of 14 days by bank card or bank transfer (depending on the payment method you used) after our returns department receives the package. Return shipping costs for cancellations: Return shipping costs in the event of cancellation remain the responsibility of the customer. Warranty against hidden defects: In accordance with Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code, you also benefit from the legal warranty against hidden defects. Only products with a proven hidden defect may be returned under this warranty. In accordance with this article, the customer who claims that their product suffers from a hidden defect must provide proof. Therefore, the customer must request an expert assessment of the product from a certified expert to verify the hidden defect. If the assessment confirms the existence of a hidden defect, the official report must be sent to our customer service department as soon as possible. Upon receipt of the report, our customer service department will provide you with a return authorization number and instructions on how to return your product. Return shipping costs are your responsibility. Your return will be accepted after our team has verified the hidden defect. Once your return is accepted, your product will be exchanged. The warranty does not cover: Orders manufactured or modified specifically for a particular vehicle cannot be exchanged or refunded. LED, xenon, or halogen lighting controls are not returnable or exchangeable, except in the case of an error on our part. Headlight control units, ECUs, or headlight housings requiring coding are not returnable or refundable because these products cannot be resold or used on another vehicle, even if identical. Since the chassis information remains stored in the unit, it will not function on another vehicle. The warranty does not cover abnormal or improper use of the products, defects and their consequences related to use that is not in accordance with the intended purpose (e.g., competition), or defects and their consequences related to any external cause. PROOF Unless proven otherwise, the data recorded by our German Look store constitutes proof of all transactions between our German Look store and its customers. DEPOSIT All old materials (deposits) must be returned within 30 days. Any old material received after the 30-day period will not be refunded the deposit paid at the time of order; it will be returned at your expense. Any old material received in multiple pieces or incomplete cannot be returned and therefore cannot be refunded. To process your request correctly, please provide your order number and full contact details, as well as the product purchase invoice. A refund to your bank card will be issued within 15 days of receipt of the package by our returns department. Any deposit dropped off directly at our collection point will be processed within the same timeframe mentioned above. WARRANTY All "lighting" items sold by our German Look store are guaranteed for 1 year, excluding consumables (bulbs, LEDs, rings). Important: - For the warranty to be valid, we will need the product's production number, which can be found either on the label affixed to the headlight, for example, or on the packaging. It is therefore essential to keep this information (boxes and labels) so that we can process warranty returns. - We advise you to keep your original headlights: if a product is defective (for example, if the LEDs are faulty in the taillights or headlights), you will need to return it to us. Your original headlights can then be used temporarily while you wait for your warranty claim to be processed. Any modified parts (drilled, welded, etc.) will void the warranty. The warranty applies to normal use; no warranty is provided for damage resulting from improper installation or poor maintenance. Our warranties are strictly limited in all areas, and specifically within the framework of Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code, to the replacement of defective parts or products only. Return shipping costs, as well as labor costs for assembly and disassembly, remain the responsibility of the customer, and German Look cannot under any circumstances be held liable for damages of any kind. German Look excludes all warranties in cases of force majeure, negligence or lack of maintenance, improper use, or defective assembly. Installing xenon kits on headlights that prohibit them (marked with the "no HID" emblem or other manufacturer designation) voids the warranty. Important note: To prevent water ingress and/or condensation inside the headlights, it is necessary and mandatory to reseal them (using silicone sealant, for example). If this condition is not met, JaimeMaVoiture will exclude all warranties on the product(s). Not all consumables are covered by a warranty. All warranty returns must be shipped by the customer to our after-sales service department. The part will be inspected by the supplier, who will then handle the exchange or repair. Please note that the exchange or repair process may take up to 5 weeks from receipt of the part. The repaired part will be shipped back to you from our German Look store. Shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer. VALIDATION You declare that you have read and accepted these General Terms and Conditions of Sale before placing your order. Therefore, validating your order constitutes acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale. All photos and website content (descriptions, references, etc.) are protected by copyright. However, the price listed in the catalog on the day of the order will be the only price applicable to the Customer. The Customer can place an order on this Site and can pay by credit card or PayPal. Credit card payments are made through secure transactions provided by an online payment platform provider. This Site does not have access to any data relating to the Customer's payment methods. Payment is made directly to the bank or payment provider receiving the Customer's payment. In the case of payment by check or bank transfer, the delivery times defined in the "Deliveries" section of these Terms and Conditions only begin to run from the date of actual receipt of payment by the Seller, who may provide proof thereof by any means. Product availability is indicated on the Website, in the description of each Product. Auto Prestige will archive order forms and invoices on a reliable and durable medium constituting a faithful copy in accordance with the provisions of Article 221-1 of the French Consumer Code. The computerized records will be considered by the parties as proof of communications, orders, payments, and transactions between them.
Delivery charges will be indicated to the Customer before any payment and apply only to deliveries within mainland France. For any other delivery location, the Customer must contact customer service. If a Product is to be delivered outside the territory of the European Union and to French overseas departments and territories (DOM-TOM), the Customer declares themselves to be the importer of the Product and accepts that in such cases the Seller may be unable to provide them with accurate information on the total amount of fees related to customs duties and formalities or import taxes applicable in the country where delivery of the Product is requested. Unless otherwise stated on the Website during the ordering process or in the description of the Products ordered, the Seller undertakes in all cases to deliver the Products within a maximum of thirty (30) days after the conclusion of the contract with a Consumer Customer. The Customer may refuse a package upon delivery if they notice any anomaly concerning the delivery (damage, missing product compared to the delivery note, damaged package, broken products, etc.). Any anomaly must then be indicated by the Customer on the delivery note, in the form of handwritten reservations, accompanied by the Customer's signature. To exercise their right of refusal, the Customer must open the damaged or defective package(s) in the presence of the carrier and have them take back the damaged goods. Failure to comply with these requirements will prevent the Customer from exercising their right of refusal, and the Seller will not be obligated to grant the Customer's request to exercise this right. If the Customer's package is returned to the Seller by the postal service or other delivery providers, the Seller will contact the Customer upon receipt of the returned package to inquire about how they wish to proceed with their order. If the Customer refused the package in error, they may request reshipment after first paying the postage costs for the new shipment. Postage costs must be paid even for orders that initially qualified for free shipping. In the event of a delivery error or exchange (if the right of withdrawal applies, i.e., if the Customer is a Consumer and the contract for the purchase of the Product or Service allows for withdrawal, according to Article L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code), any product to be exchanged or refunded must be returned to the Seller in its entirety and in perfect condition. The Seller cannot be held responsible for any defects resulting from the Customer's negligence or misuse. Any delay in delivery beyond the date or timeframe indicated to the Consumer Customer at the time of their order, or, if no date or timeframe was indicated at the time of the order, any delay exceeding thirty (30) days from the conclusion of the contract, may result in the cancellation of the sale at the Consumer Customer's initiative, upon written request by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, if, after having formally requested the Seller to make the delivery, the Seller has failed to do so. The Consumer Customer will then be reimbursed, at the latest within fourteen (14) days following the date on which the contract was terminated, for all sums paid. This clause does not apply if the delivery delay is due to a case of force majeure.
